Naturally Preserved Purity
Iceland naturally preserved in the North Atlantic is the source of the Islandus Fountain of Youth water. With a population of only 300,000 in an area of 40,000 square miles where industry is powered and heating provided by hydro and geothermal energy Iceland has one of cleanest environments on the planet.
Iceland has one of the largest reserves of fresh water in the world. Thanks to extremely low pollution levels water in its natural environment throughout the country is one of the purest in the world.
The Islandus water is harvested from deep under lava rock through a borehole going some 140 meters down under the earths surface in the nature reserve "Heidmork" which is fenced off in a 1.5 million square meter
security zone and controlled by the Reykjavik Water Works which became
one of the first water utilities in the world to receive ISO 9001 food
grade quality certification in 1995.
The water stream originates from under the uninhabited mountains of "Blafjoll" (Blue Mountains) and from under the glacier Langjokull. Our water was produced by rain and snow converted into ice thousands of years ago when no human pollutions existed giving you the unique and ultimate quality of the Islandus Fountain of Youth.
